70 Squadron was spotted at Tupana today practicing cargo drops. This helps our pilots improve accuracy and awareness, making sure loads land in the right spot and sharpening loadmaster skills.

Today, 33 Squadron were at RAF Northolt, covering low-speed flight, take-offs, landings, and airbase navigation. While they usually operate in combat environments, this exercise helps pilots adjust to urban airspace, ensuring precision and adaptability in diverse conditions.

This evening, No.2 Group introduced the Ground Handling Qualification to both squadrons. This qualification allows personnel to handle turnarounds, fuelling of aircrafts and to conduct safe vehicle movements on an airfield.

Excellent opportunity to visit No.2 Group ROBLOX in Glasgow tonight, I witnessed newly developed training into Airside Operations. Personnel were exposed to brand new equipment and up-to-date facilities to safely handle aircraft and the equipment around it.

70 Squadron are currently partaking in qualification refreshers with ATAR beginning the process. Pilots were tasked with utilising radio communications, and precise flying to successfully refuel the receiving aircraft.

Stormwing Flight took part in natural surface operations this evening. Pilots were tasked with taking off and landing on a beach, practicing precise and safe rudder movement to avoid colliding into hilly terrain.

Recently, Guardian Flight from 33 Squadron conducted search & rescue training. Helicopter pilots were assigned to identify casualty locations through specialist radio communications and maintain a steady hover for accurate rescue basket deployment.

Over the past few days, 32 Squadron have held both Fixed & Rotary Wing trainings. This allows both primary squadrons to have the opportunity to fly different aircraft, including the Envoy and AW109. Personnel are trained to fly with care to provide a smooth & enjoyable flight.

On Friday, His Royal Highness The Duke of Sussex paid a visit to RAF Northolt, the home of 32 Squadron. During his visit, Prince Louis embarked on a flight aboard the Envoy IV CC Mk1, taking part in an aerial tour of the base.

RAF No.2 Group have recently conducted trainings for the Apache AH1. Members of 33 squadron, Rotary wing of the No.2 group were recently given the oppertunity to train on the Apache AH1, used for air-to-ground combat.

This evening, No.2 Group rallied at Larkhill Parade Square for the BAF wide bi-weekly inspection. We rallied 16 personnel, to be inspected by the Chief of Air Staff.

This evening, members of stormwing flight took to French Polynesia to conduct low altitude flying operations. The pilots were tasked with dropping large amounts of rations and vehicles into designated points - preparing for future exercises.
