Recently, Guardian Flight from 33 Squadron conducted search & rescue training. Helicopter pilots were assigned to identify casualty locations through specialist radio communications and maintain a steady hover for accurate rescue basket deployment.

Over the past few days, 32 Squadron have held both Fixed & Rotary Wing trainings. This allows both primary squadrons to have the opportunity to fly different aircraft, including the Envoy and AW109. Personnel are trained to fly with care to provide a smooth & enjoyable flight.

On Friday, His Royal Highness The Duke of Sussex paid a visit to RAF Northolt, the home of 32 Squadron. During his visit, Prince Louis embarked on a flight aboard the Envoy IV CC Mk1, taking part in an aerial tour of the base.

33 Squadron were seen at BIOT carrying out ship insertions. These manoeuvres are used to insert infantry soldiers onto mobile vessels.

RAF No.2 Group have recently conducted trainings for the Apache AH1. Members of 33 squadron, Rotary wing of the No.2 group were recently given the oppertunity to train on the Apache AH1, used for air-to-ground combat.

This evening, No.2 Group rallied at Larkhill Parade Square for the BAF wide bi-weekly inspection. We rallied 16 personnel, to be inspected by the Chief of Air Staff.

Following yesterday's inspection, the Chief of the Air Staff announced the following promotions: Squadron Leader Aaron Lydford → Wing Commander Flight Lieutenant SimplyGeorgee → Squadron Leader Flying Officers JoeLydford & XboxFormula1 → Flight Lieutenant Congratulations.

Last week, 33 squadron from the RAF conducted an operation against a local enemy airfield within Tupana. The mission was completed with the upmost precision.

The stage is set. Tonight, the RAF will conduct a flypast immediately after the conclusion of the Trooping of the Colour ceremony, at Buckingham Palace. The flypast can be expected to begin from 8:45PM estimated. Due to operational commitments, the F35B is unable to attend.

Recently, RAF forces deployed to the Falkland Islands in order to protect and serve the community. Multiple gunman have attacked the soldiers deployed, but their attacks were repelled with minimal casualties. Overall the deployment has been a great success.

Recently 33 Squadron, No.2 Group pilots practiced their VERTREPS skills. They transported cargo and equipment on and off the ship in order to improve their qualifications. By completing this training, 33 Squadron continues to build on its commitment to excellence, adaptability.

Today, the Royal Air Force proudly participated in the King’s Birthday celebration and the Trooping the Colour. Demonstrating our exceptional drill skills, we executed formations throughout the parade. Following the ceremony, the event concluded with a spectacular flypast.
