Quake in Papua New Guinea detected at School of GeoSciences @ University of Edinburgh @EdinbrughUni on both gravity meter and Raspberry Shake Raspberry Shake Earthquake Channel . Sufficiently far offshore to not be a problem for anyone according to USGS (see earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/ev…). (Follow me on Bluesky for more.)

Well, I am looking at Twitter for the first time in ages. But only because I am kicking my heels at Edinburgh Waverley while National Rail use Twitter to update us on the #Dunbar incident.

Rare visit over here to post something else. BBC BBC Radio 4 BBC Radio 4 Today taking a deep breath before saying "persistent knobheadery" regarding rebel The Labour Party MPs was the funniest bit of radio of the year so far. (Time for all tagged here to move to Bluesky, BTW)

Oy, pal, do you have to use that noisy mower? I had to jump like a, well, whatever, or I would have been minced amphibian. (There are a lot more frogs in my garden than there used to be. I think this is because my neighbour installed a pond a year or two ago.)

Nice to hear Jonathan Bamber 🇪🇺 🇬🇧 🇩🇪🇺🇦 on BBC Radio 4 Today BBC Radio 4 News this morning, breathing fire at Trump for his attacks on NASA Earth NASA . Sadly, by the time Trump is no longer president I suspect that it will be too late to repair the damage done.

So, have I got this right that John Bolton was appearing on TL;DR with Catherine Bohart on BBC Radio 4 at the same time as his house was being raided by the FBI?

People should be aware of this, not just because of fake #Scottishindependence supporters, but because any political movement can be leveraged to spread dissent in this way by nations hostile to Britain and Europe. ukdefencejournal.org.uk/figures-claim-…

Now, here is something that the BBC should be reporting on. (BBC Breaking News BBC Radio 4 #wato BBC Radio 4 PM ) (Also, when are the BBC going to set up accounts on BlueSky so that I don't have to visit this alt-right sewer to tweet them?)
