Political parties on the brink of disaster invariably make mistakes that could be described as gross incompetence. The effort to get things right is not made as desperation sinks in. The Conservatives latest Twitter/X advert (withdrawn after 2 days) exemplifies this.

Brexit has ousted Britain from zone of global influence. David Miliband is the latest to point out this glaring truth. Boris Johnson and his lying supporters, Sunak included, have made us a pawn on the world stage in an era of great risk. We must rebuild ties with EU now.

When the #AELTC told the BERA Belvedere Estate Residents Association AGM about the park the community would be given under their plans to build on Wimbledon Park… and then admitted the #AELTC would retain ownership and could withdraw access after 5 years 🤦🏻‍♂️

Glad to support Ed in this. The deaths of aid workers in Gaza this week are just the latest outrage in this miserable conflict. The government must act now to suspend arms exports to Israel – and use all our influence to mitigate this humanitarian disaster.
