Today in north #Gaza, home after home flattened. I was next to a young boy as a strike whistled above us. He froze, eyes wide open. It hit nearby & he just stood there, paralysed by fear. What’s left for children here? Constant displacement, among constant unimaginable horror.

We are not heros, not by choice anyway. If you were in our place you have only one choice: give up and die, or resist and die. The act of survival against odds makes everyone of our children a hero in that sense.

What we are witnessing in #Gaza is beyond the humanly possible to endure. The photos of killed, mutilated and injured children are horrific beyond words. Whoever still defends/supports Israel's depraved cruelty has lost their humanity and carries responsibility for these crimes.
