Gilbert White is one of the founding fathers of natural history and ecology in the UK. He was the first naturalist to describe the noctule. 2020 marks the three hundredth anniversary of his birth and a website has been launched to celebrate Gilbert White's House & Gardens gw300.gilbertwhiteshouse.org.uk
