Today I recieved a service charge demand for £6200

My service charge doubled due to costs involved in registering our building to the Building Safety Regulator in accordance with BSA 2022

Leasehold constitutes one of the worst examples of corruption and greed in the UK this century. Gove calls it knottingley complex. I say freeholders have tied the knot with governments for too long. That's the problem. Banning it is relatively easy. Scotland and the world did it.

How leasehold gave unfair power to ripp off peasants/leaseholders with unfair contractual clauses. Corrupt systems eventually crash due to too much greed. But not this one. Greed is endemic in government.

Noticed how often leasehold is in the news? A system invented by the rich and privileged a 1000 years ago, and astonishingly still going because the rich can buy off politicians and milk trapped leaseholders.
