Today we’re launching Chapter One as a national provider of gambling harm prevention for everyone affected by gambling across the UK with an event in the UK House of Commons Thank you to our speakers Abtisam Mohamed Dr Beccy Cooper MP Henrietta Bowden-Jones. Stay tuned for updates.


For anyone searching for information on the impact of gambling, to understand how the industry lures people in so we can defend ourselves, and for the best places for help and support - Chapter One is it.

Well, that a was an incredible meeting in UK House of Commons today, thank you to Chapter One for inviting me to speak in my role as national Advisor and welcome to Ch1! Please do read their 10 point approach to harm prevention.


Today our colleague Leanne Moulton was at UK House of Commons to support Chapter One at their launch as a national provider of gambling harm prevention. We stand in solidarity with our friends Gambling with Lives and with all those affected by gambling harms.


Our LINK UK Branch was proud to attend Chapter One’s first parliamentary forum at Parliament on Wednesday. Chapter One provides information and support for everyone affected by gambling addiction and was created through a partnership between Gambling with Lives and Greater Manchester Combined Authority.

Delighted to be in Westminster for the national launch of Chapter One, a new service providing information and support for everyone affected by gambling. Looking forward to supporting their upcoming event at Stormont as this brilliant initiative rolls out across the UK



Gambling harms people in countless ways. Mentally, physically, financially…and any level of exposure can make people vulnerable to harm. So it was my pleasure to speak at the launch of Gambling with Lives national provider of gambling harm prevention, Chapter One
