Rishi Sunak’s unfunded £46 billion will be paid for by Britain’s pensioners.

It will see the pension cut by £96 a week or pensioners paying more in tax.

You can’t trust the Tories with the state pension.

It is beyond disappointing that ministers are delaying a decision on funding for UNRWA.

The UK is one of the few major donors not to have resumed funding. UNRWA is critical for the aid operation in dire conditions.

The UK should show leadership on this. We need a decision now.

Devastating news that Tata Steel are pressing ahead with the Government’s plans to close both blast furnaces in Port Talbot triggering thousands of job losses.

With other options on the table, and with an uncertain future, Labour urges Tata not make any irreversible decisions.

Ending service charge abuse ultimately requires bringing the archaic and iniquitous leasehold system to an end.

With the Tories having failed to do so, ministers must at least act now to protect leaseholders and shared owners from the excessive demands so many are being served.

It's now over five years since the Tories promised to scrap Section 21 no-fault evictions.

Private tenants will wait for years more if the government waters down its Renters Reform Bill today.

Labour will end Section 21 evictions immediately - no ifs, no buts.
