The Brexit/Johnson/Truss cheerleaders turning on Sunak are, in a crowded field, the worst. Reaching desperately for the nonsense that their mess is all his fault. We would all benefit from seeing less of them on air/in print. The ‘problem’ is the ecosystem they all helped create.

Being as charitable as possible: I think BBC has questions to ask itself over representation and balance in politics programming. Over-representation of (very) underperforming minor parties, recycling of (very)unreliable rumours. Do they equitably represent the nation they serve?

Had to chuckle when Andrew Mitchell told me on Channel 4 News that Andy Street had either “won or nearly won”…quite some chutzpah to describe potential defeat as a victory…

Really great to see the Greens and Lib Dems making gains too. Maybe the news channels could stop inviting Richard Tice and Reform on all the time and reflect the politics of this country.

Changing the voting system to FPTP has really helped the Conservatives in these PCC elections. They'd most likely only have held Lincolnshire if SV were being used.

I’m might not hold my breath for Boston & Skegness, but a few less votes for a safe seat Tory might make him realise that supporting performative cruelty to refugees & disabled people is not what the country wants. What do you think Chris ?
