These might be the most terrifying graphs I have seen in my 20+years as a climate activist.

As you say, Greg Hands, 'the truth does matter'.

Given £25m of public money has been spent on a deeply concerning PPE contract in deeply concerning circumstances in which you appear to have played a central role, do you not think the public deserves answers?

Do you agree it is deeply peculiar that a company with negative net assets and no employees was awarded a £25m PPE contract after being referred by you and Mark Higton?

August CO₂ just came in at 419.68 ppm. It's clear that the rate of CO₂ growth has been slowing. The 36-month running mean for CO₂ growth peaked at 7.83 ppm (per 3 years) in 2019, now its 7.19 ppm.

At this rate of declining CO₂ growth, we can expect net-Zero around 2076:

Sainsbury’s CEO earned £4ml last year, £2,298 an hour.

Tesco CEO made almost £4.5ml last year, £2,472 an hour.

Workers in both get £11 an hour.

The Greens have a policy for CEOs to be paid a maximum of ten times the wage of workers.

Policies for workers. Truly needed.

I won’t shut up about this despite what people may think of me, because the media is wrong: This IS an emergency. We aren’t being hysterical. As David Attenborough says, we are heading towards the collapse of civilisation. This is Greece, for fucks sake:

Earth’s two warmest months on record:

1 - July 2023 (16.95°C)
2 - August 2023 (16.82°C)

Frightening times we're living in.

Big 4 bank profits were up 700% in first half of this year compared to 2020, so I’ve just asked the Chancellor to introduce a windfall tax on banks’ excess profits, to fund support for households struggling with energy & housing costs
If you agree he should please RT! 🙏

When Tory politicians rail against 'elites', do they mean the billionaires who fund their party?
Do they mean a Prime Minister with £700m of assets?
Do they mean CEOs of banks and oil companies?
Of course not. They mean anyone with a degree.
It's pure distraction.

We’re going to spend decades negotiating to help tackle the impact of Brexit on everything from the music industry and the City of London to car manufacturing and tourism. Instead, why can’t politicians explain to voters why it’s in the U.K’s interest to be inside the single

I’m not sure what it takes for people in the U.K. to realise that democracy is slipping through their fingers. Jacob Rees-Mogg is admitting today that voter ID was an attempt at gerrymandering. The public order act has put the fundamental right to protest in the hands of an

One asylum seeker who is not permitted to work; one whose visa has expired. Both doing horrible, back-breaking work in a sector crippled by Brexit. And now they feature in the pictorial equivalent of a public stoning paid for by you & me.
