Our recent paper is featured as a nature research highlight!! Here we showed that ~1/3 #Nitrogen and 2/3 #Phosphorus entering the #GreatBarrierReef comes from #Groundwater, not #SurfaceWater. This equates to 2x the N and 6x the P contributed by rivers! nature.com/articles/d4158…

Another awesome #ASLO_LO paper showing how #wetlands impact carbon outwelling and emissions with observations across an Australian climatic gradient. #mangroves and #saltmarshes cover <1% of catchments but can contribute about 46-67% of all carbon exported to the ocean.
