2019 was another busy year for the Cambridge Student and Community First Responder team. 397 casualties attended and 1,926 hours volunteered. EEAST CFRS

During February scheme responders gave 150 hours of their time, attending 16 casualties. Half were category 1 (immediately life threatening) including two cardiac arrests. In 80% they arrived in the vital few minutes before an ambulance arrived. EEAST Ambulance Service EEAST CFRS

Over the last two years our volunteers have given over 4000 hours of their time and attended well over 500 calls. Here's a breakdown of the types of calls attended.

In the last two months scheme responders have attended 47 calls, arriving before the ambulance in 91%.
