When would be a good time? Seriously.

Really happy to share this first piece of campaign work done with the incredible people at BetterStreets Australia. Have a look at what they're doing to make things better for those in NSW + Australia. betterstreets.info

BREAKING: The federal e-bike bill is BACK.

A new proposal would give Americans up to $1,500 off a new e-bike.

This bill is similar to its predecessor, which came tantalizingly close to passing last year. BUT there are some key differences.

Yeah! Best news I've seen in The Economist in years:
- Cities are cutting back on car roads/parking to make space for people walking+biking
- Car-free 20somethings have doubled to 25%
- featuring an appearance from The War on Cars !

In 1929, a rush hour trip from downtown Indy to Carmel took exactly 50min on a fast, electric Union Traction Interurban. Today, that same trip takes 55min-1hr 5 min by car at rush hour. No transit is available. We leveled our city to move 5min slower. That’s “progress”.

Air quality here is never great.... Wish the EU and particularly Germany would do more to protect everyone's health

Love it every time these images make their rounds because they really illustrate the progression of tight-knit neighborhoods degrading into a low-density development pattern and denuded tax base as highways are carved through them.

I think more partnerships like this will have to take hold to entice more folks to consider an ebike instead of a new car: newatlas.com/bicycles/toyot…

Another bullish take on minicars:

'For people who live in a densely populated area or who drive only a few dozen miles per day (i.e., most people in the US), an electric micro-car could do the trick while saving money, energy, emissions, and more.'

this post goes viral every couple months but what most people don’t realize is that driving to the supermarket creates far more emissions than shipping the pears

maritime container shipping is really efficient! personal automobiles are not

I think this vehicle is a new great option for lots of those small trips even if prefer a bike or walking. I know a lot of other will prefer this. Its a crucial step to reducing GHG: squadmobility.com/shop
