This morning Parliament’s own spending watchdog, the National Audit Office, publishes a damning indictment of the government’s botched and flawed chidcare rollout.

As Labour has said all along, this was a pledge without a plan.

Health ministers will not promise that NHS waiting lists will be lower at the general election than they were when Rishi Sunak became Prime Minister.

Another broken promise.

Only Labour will cut waiting lists, get our NHS back on its feet and build an NHS fit for the future.

Today I present a petition in Parliament on the Infected Blood Inquiry. The Government must publish a timeline for delivering compensation. 2 victims are dying every week, uncompensated.
My petition urges the Gvt to implement recommendations of the Inquiry without delay.

Shameful (but unsurprising) that 58% of disabled people believe politicians don't care about them.

Disabled people absolutely must be at the heart of policy-making.

I will ensure this happens under a future Labour government.
