Well about time re Mims Davies MP being made Minister of State. This role never should have been demoted. Disabled people deserve a full time Minister with the seniority to be able to deliver for them.

Another reason why I am voting for Sadiq Khan on May 2 and asking traditional Lib Dem voters to do the same.

Vote tactically or risk having a Tory Mayor. ⬇️

After 14 years, nowhere is safe from Tory failure - sickness benefits have soared in literally every constituency.

Millions are on mental health waiting lists or can't work due to long-term sickness - it costs us all a fortune.

Our country needs change.

Great to be out campaigning in with Thurrock Labour and Jen Craft.

Many people on the doors fed up with years of Tory failure locally & nationally.

Vote Labour on 2 May to deliver the fresh start Thurrock needs & send a clear message that it's time for change.

Today marks 25 years since the introduction of the National Minimum Wage, one of the greatest achievements of the last Labour Government – the minimum hourly rate has now risen to 2/3 of median wages, but many challenges remain (thread 1/11 )

Town after town. City after city. Parents can’t find the childcare they need.

The Tories can’t deliver their own promises.

Labour wants high quality early education and childcare in every community β€” affordable, accessible, and available.

The Chancellor thinks knowing how many nurseries and childcare places there are would be like β€œStalinist Russia”.

Does he think Ofsted should stop counting to hide the fact that childcare provider numbers have fallen 3,316 in a year?

This is another shocking revelation from a scandal that seems never ending.

Any suggestion that the Post Office knew the Horizon system was faulty while they actively sought prosecutions is unforgivable (1/2)

The United Nations Security Council’s call for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza is vital and must be a turning point.

The British government must urgently apply diplomatic pressure for it to be implemented in full.
