I recently met with Andrew Turner and look forward to continuing to champion the #ChildTrustFund campaign.
John Milne MP Andrew Turner John, it is encouraging to see that you are taking an active interest in Child Trust Fund debacle & supporting the hard work being done by Andrew. We need champions who are willing & able to resolve this urgent matter.
Jess Phillips My son is non verbal, severely autistic and he cannot communicate due to his profound learning disabilities. Seems awfully unfair that he can’t access his own money in his child trust fund. His money will just sit there as he’ll never be able to authorise the trust to act?!!!

Sarah Ann Johnson Andrew Turner Jess Phillips It’s not right, we had to go through the Court of Protection to access our daughter’s trust fund, even though I am her Appointee and have been managing her benefits, without question, for years. The fight continues until we get a simpler and fairer system.

Half way through the holidays as a parent carer so don't have enormous energy to argue this. But a number of parents have flagged this piece and Nick Ferrari 's comments today, so here's a mini, incoherent while-I'm-looking-afte-Elvi rant🧵 telegraph.co.uk/business/2024/…

Please could I have a retweet for Michael Walker who has come to our home every year for the last 6 years to busk for my daughter on her birthday because she just loves music I think he’s really talented & incredibly kind & deserves some recognition. Thanks 💛🎶🎤
What a fantastic afternoon Southbank Centre! We loved the Touretteshero Biscuit Land Cabaret which featured the most amazing performers. I was so moved by the music and songs of both Maddie Morris and Ruby Addy. BLINK were incredible. And Harry was BollywoodTastic!
Congratulations to @AMCarmichaelMP, Layla Moran 🔶🕊️ and Jamie Stone MP on their new roles chairing select committees in Parliament. Alistair, Layla and Jamie will be playing a crucial role in holding the Government to account on issues that really matter to people.
Amazing morning at the BBC Woman's Hour SEND debate with Anna Bird and Sam Carlisle . A wonderful group of speakers & a very supportive vibe for all the mums out there, including the bereaved 😔 I was privileged to have a front row seat. Thanku Carolyn Atkinson and Disabled Children's Partnership
Back in 2020 Vicky Foxcroft 💙 and I were interviewed by alex thomson Channel 4 News about the Child Trust Fund issue. Since then, thousands of disabled teens have lost £ms. Didn’t think we’d still be fighting this injustice. But we are. And we’re not giving up. channel4.com/news/exclusive…
Andrew Turner Vicky Foxcroft 💙 alex thomson Channel 4 News Fully agree, your assistance Vicky Foxcroft 💙 Sir Stephen Timms Tulip Siddiq Shabana Mahmood MP would be hugely appreciated as #Change needed.
