On Paul’s 56th bday, his nurse and family had a surprise for the lifelong Sylvester Stallone fan: the real-life Rambo had a message for him. Paul had been through months of intensive medical care for end stage heart failure, and his time was near. Read more: ucla.in/3UzohzB

The patient loved God & her family. Our volunteer artist turned her fingerprints into a rosary per the family's request. The rosary was painted w/ a special gold paint that shimmered when turned. Let their always be light. The 3 Wishes Project #EOLcare

These were the wishes achieved for a The 3 Wishes Project patient. To be honest, I had no idea that keepsakes are so valued before I started this program, but now I know, having a tangible, physical remembrance can mean so much to some families.

Paul was a teacher >20yrs. He loves Sylvester Stallone &quotes him daily, his nickname is #Rambo . His family said it would mean the world if he can get a message fr Sly for his bday--the day before removing life support. Was not easy, but Paul's reaction--priceless. The 3 Wishes Project

Whoa, just learned that Olive View UCLA did their first The 3 Wishes Project yesterday! Start date is April 1st, but they did not want to wait! The reality is: #HCW are eager to provide as much compassionate care as possible, particularly at the #EOL . #Kindness is spreading!
