Afiyah means well-being. Asking Allah for Afiyah means to be saved from Distress, Grief, Hardship, Test, and all pain and suffering in both this world and the hereafter. All of this is included in the short but beautiful dua:

“Allahumma inni As’ Aluka Al’Afiyah”

Feeling very lucky. Surprise weekend to Bruges all booked & arranged by hubby. Looking a bit tired as it was a very early start to get the ferry/drive here but it’s beautiful, sunny & now we are relaxing enjoying a beer in the evening sun. It’s just what I needed ❤️ #grief
