Big time snow problems are likely tomorrow night in Calgary. 😬
The first half of the day should be pleasant before conditions rapidly deteriorate around dinnertime. Still lots of uncertainty, but 30+cm of snow could be on the table if we end up in the worst of it.

Ready or snow here it comes significant snowfall on tap 10-25cm some regions possibly picking up 30cm of snow on Thursday. Gusty NW winds will produce blowing snow tonight into Thursday morning that will reduce visibility. Temperatures plummet into Thursday as well. Further east
Very heavy snow with blizzard like conditions currently in #Calgary. Roads are extremely icy! It is not going to be a fun commute tomorrow morning. Stay home if you can #yyc #abstorm 11:20pm. It is bad out there 😬
Winter wallop! It is coming down hard and we are expecting a lot more snow into the night and tomorrow! Looks like we are going to be on the higher end of the totals! #yyc #abstorm 11:22pm
What a storm! #Calgary’s walloped with close to 27cm of snow on the ground (hard to measure with a lot of snow drifts). It is that heavy wet spring snow #yyc #abstorm 6:56 am
The difference in snowfall between the SW quadrant and downtown is pretty wild. There’s significantly more snow in the south than in #Calgary downtown #yyc #abstorm 4:40pm
Enjoy the warm-up, because the cold is coming back to the Canadian Prairies through the end of the month.
The jet stream is really wavy these days, which can make it more likely to get stuck.
Unfortunately for us, this atmospheric traffic jam keeps a chilly air mass in place!
