Wednesday was Winter Walk Day and it was a gorgeous day to host such an event! Thank you to Miss Todd and the High School PE class for all the great outdoor winter activities! Judging by the laughter and excitement a great time was had by all! SHAPE #Winter Walk Day

To let our Class of 2020 know we are thinking of them our four Grade 12 students, six feet apart, watched a "Pre-Graduation Ceremony" video that was prepared by those who have shared in their school careers. The video was projected in an outdoor theatre complete with snacks!

Youngstown School was finally able to celebrate the Class of 2020 with an outdoor ceremony on Friday, August 28th. We wish you all the best as you take those first steps on your new adventure!

We had a great first week back! Thank you to everyone for following the protocols and trying so hard to make this 2020-2021 Back to School with Covid a positive and a successful one. Even our backpacks are socially distancing!!😂

In recognition of #OrangeShirtDay all staff and students were encouraged to wear orange. Our grade 4-12 students participated in a virtual Truth and Reconciliation conference while our grade 1-3 students read a story, coloured and journaled. #EveryChildMatters Prairie Land School Division

We held a Remembrance Day ceremony to honor & thank those who have served & are serving to keep us safe! Thank you to our flag bearers, those who laid wreaths & the Gr. 7-9 art class for the beautiful fence art they created in remembrance & hope, to be shared by all who pass by.

❄️The beauty of Christmas is all around us from dazzling lights to the wonder of a snowflake. On December 14, with some instructions from Elfsa, the Grade 1-6 tried their hand at growing their own Christmas Crystals. After a few days of growing these are the results. Beautiful❄️

A huge Thank You to ENBRIDGE for their generous donation that we put towards replacing the screen in our gymnasium and purchase of a projector. Both items will be put to good use for school and community events. Thank you for your continued support! Enbridge #ENBgiving

We are breaking ground today on our School of Excellence Greenhouse!!!

The Grade 1-3 students watched the life cycle of a butterfly right in their classroom! Today the class released the butterflies - what an extraordinary day! 🦋
