We had our first bargaining meeting with Adams MultiMedia today. We presented our proposal and explained why higher wages are a necessity. We’re excited to continue to bargain in good faith! The NewsGuild-CWA #unionstrong #mtnews

We've been bargaining with Adams Publishing since July, but they continue to insist on paying their journalist's poverty wages. We need a fair contract now.

Adams has kept its journalists under 40 hours a week since the pandemic, and it’s held steady at a slap-in-the-face 37.5 hours per week for about two years. A fair contract for our Bozeman friends is the least Adams could do.

Thinking of our Lee colleagues across the state today. What's happening to Montana's local news is devastating for everyone and these companies need to be held accountable.
