Our team work on the Fire and Rescue Degree Course BSc (Hons) at University of Wolverhampton It was a proud moment when we saw a former graduate, and two current students in this photo volunteering with Wolverhampton Fire Cadets

On Wednesday, our cadets spent the evening learning how to lay and follow a guideline utilising the correct knots, As well as practicing search and rescue and how to move around in darkness and locate items doing the BA Shuffle!! Good effort by all 👌👏🏻 West Midlands Fire Service

It was our last cadet evening of the year last night, and there’s no better way then to jump around on inflatables and finish with some pizza and a party 🥳 Thank you to everyone for the hard work you’ve shown in 2024 and have a very merry Christmas from all the instructor team!

Happy new year to all our families, friends and followers!! It was been an eventful and successful year as we looked to change and shape our group and have already made plans in hope to make 2025 a very exciting, fun and prosperous year for us!! Happy new year all!!🥳🎉🌟

Over the last couple weeks we’ve welcomed our cadets back and started our drills by going back to basics!! Great effort shown by all showing the importance of learning the fundamentals!! 👍 👏

Over the last few weeks our cadets have been practicing their ladder drills, hauling aloft, dam building and knots as well as other skills to prepare the group for our upcoming cadet competition!! Loads of new skills being learnt and great teamwork being shown 👌👏 West Midlands Fire Service

And the winners are… A huge congratulations to our cadets who not only came first in the haul aloft and knots and line challenge, but were the overall cadet day competition winners!! There was great energy and teamwork shown by everyone and well deserved🎉🥳 🏆🥇 West Midlands Fire Service

🚗🧽Charity Car Wash🚗🧽 We have a car wash tomorrow at Walsall fire station from 10am - 4pm to help raise funds for our group and the firefighters charity. Come down and have your car washed for a small charitable donation!! West Midlands Fire Service Fire Fighters Charity

On Saturday, Our cadets visited fire control and got an insight into the work they do and how they do it all, They also went to Bickenhill fire station where they spoke to the technical rescue crews, looked at some equipment and had a go at confined space. 🚒👌 West Midlands Fire Service

Little throwback to this year’s summer camp where our cadets enjoyed a week away, kayaking, abseiling, 3G swing, a swimming pool and of course a day out to Drayton manor, A lot of laughs and a very enjoyable week away for us all!! 🛶🎢🏕️
