Document also says he said “mama”repeatedly as he was being killed. People who’ve gone to war say that’s often what fatally wounded soldiers say as they’re dying. Just heartbreaking cruelty beyond words. All he had to do was stand up to preserve the man’s life.

It's shit like this that makes it even more annoying when people try to save the "purity" of the protests by arguing that they're peaceful. The police and the state have no problem escalating and being violent. They do it without provocation. Theirs is just legalized.
