Sswo is proud to be recognized as a recipient of a small grant for youth-led initiatives. This support strengthens our efforts to promote social cohesion and empower our community through sports and arts programs. We sincerely thank Ubah Inspire Initiative.

SSWO and Ubax Inspire Initiative organized a one-day training in Ceerigaabo for 45 participants, including schoolgirls and key stakeholders. The session covered human rights, leadership, and combating gender discrimination in sports, aiming to empower advocacy for equality.

On December 11, 2024, the Sanaag Social Workers Organization (SSWO), along with Options and the Africa-Led Movement (ALM), hosted an awareness event in Ceel-dhadhaable focused on girls' rights and the risks associated with Female Genital Mutilation/Cutting (FGM/C).

On March 15, 2025 , SSWO conducted a training session in community advocacy skills against FGM/C in Ceel-dhadhaable. A total of 20 participants, including youth, religious leaders, and cultural leaders, Women , took part in this important initiative aimed at empowering.
