2nd Grade Students creating paper mache masks inspired by Native American Art they have seen. #wlcardpride

4th graders creating pieces inspired by Japanese art. Students are choosing to work in a center: drawing, collage or painting or are making a mask or woodblock print. Some Ss are watching the "How To" videos for centers that I've made and put in Google classroom. #wlcardpride

5th grade students learned about Expressionism and Fauvism. They are creating pieces that either have a theme or show feeling/emotion using TAB centers. Some Ss are watching technique "How To" videos for centers that I've made and put in Google Classroom. #wlcardpride

Kindergarten Jami Kupper class earned their choice time today and got to choose what they wanted to work with during class. Choices were: drawing with crayons/markers, modeling clay, shape games, matching games, or puzzles. They made quick work of the "big puzzle"!🎉#wlcardpride

Please don't remove students from physical education, music, Arts, or other classes to remediate them in other areas. The immediate and long term damage they are doing to these students can be significant. And at the very least, make them feel more defeated and hate school.

1st grade classes started printmaking this week! We discussed how these are going to take us awhile so something winter related would be a good topic. Kids have done such an awesome job with these! #wlcardpride

2nd grade students working on their projects. Some working on masks, some weaving, and some using sand to create a picture showing things that are important to them. They were inspired by the Native American art we discussed. #wlcardpride
