Welcome to Yale Cancer Center Dr. Roel Verhaak, Professor of #Neurosurgery, and a leader in the field of #glioma. Smilow Cancer Hospital Yale School of Medicine Yale New Haven Hosp Yale Department of Neurosurgery
The INDIGO trial (nejm.org/doi/full/10.10…) shows that vorasidenib treatment delays tumor progression for patients with IDH-mutant glioma. Low Grade Glioma Registry and I summarized the science leading up to this groundbreaking outcome nejm.org/doi/full/10.10….
Interested in clinical trial innovation? Check Kevin Johnson who will present "Single cell transcriptomics, pharmacokinetics, and pharmacodynamics of combined CDK4/6 and mTOR inhibition in a phase 0 trial of recurrent high-grade glioma" Friday 4:55 PM in Room 109-110 #SNO2023
My previous colleague zhengsiyuan published an interesting PDX story. Congratulations !!! nature.com/articles/s4146…
Newest GLASS paper online! The epigenetic evolution of glioma is determined by the IDH1 mutation status and treatment regimen aacrjournals.org/cancerres/arti… congrats to Houtan Noushmehr
The 2022 GLASS Data Resource can now be analyzed via cBioPortal: cbioportal.org/study/summary?…. Check out the new functions to analyze longitudinal profiles!
We are proud and excited to start contributing to the pediatric glioma field enabled by the Lindonlight Collective support!
🚀This is one of those days in life that words can't quite capture! 🌟 I've been awarded an Emmy Noether Group by the DFG public | @[email protected] with over €2M in funding! 🎉 Starting my own lab in Essen with a focus on Computational Oncology. As we celebrate the approval of vorasidenib for treatment of grade II IDH-mutant, I would like to recognize those that developed the original compounds. See pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/ac…, science.org/doi/10.1126/sc… and perhaps most importantly pubs.acs.org/doi/full/10.10…. Fantastic job!
My brilliant student, Soyeon Kim, successfully completed her MS at SKKU (Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU)) and is now joining Wellcome Sanger Institute's PhD program(Wellcome Sanger Institute). I was very fortunate to supervise her for the past years, and I hope her future will always be happy and bright.
