An agreement on the energy transition, that does not mention a just and equitable phase-out of fossil fuels in energy systems is an incomplete agreement.

Women's role in communities and households means that they are disproportionately affected by energy poverty. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘃𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻.

The Global South continues to suffer disproportionately from the impacts of climate change. With each passing day, the need for equity in the management of this crisis becomes more urgent. It is time to move from agreements and speeches to concrete action. Climate justice now.
