🚨 Congratulations 🚨 to our CardioRespiratory service manager CAROL GRAHAM Carol, who yesterday passed her BSEcho Stress Echo practical exam!! 👏🏼 👏🏼 👏🏼 This is an advanced echo examination and will mean we are able to continue developing our physiologist led services at @WHH!

This afternoon we are doing auscultation training, learning how to recognise murmurs. This is SAM the manikin - Matt and Will are listening to determine what sort of murmur they have. Karen is explaining the difference between heart sounds. ❤️

Many of the team are attending BSEcho annual conference today and tomorrow! Congratulations to the echo team for having their abstract accepted and a poster being presented! 👏🏼 👏🏼 Tag us if you see it!! ☺️

This week is healthcare science week! Where we celebrate the amazing work done by our teams across cardiology and respiratory - part of Physiological Sciences. Our teams are made up of Healthcare Scientists and healthcare science assistants and apprentice healthcare scientists 👏🏼

Within the Cardiorespiratory Department at WHH we support two areas of Physiological Sciences: Cardiac Physiology 🫀 Respiratory 🫁 and Sleep 😴 Physiology #HealthcareScienceWeek
