I know of many in the civil and administrative legal system. The jury system offers at least a degree of protection in criminal cases if they go to crown.

Also public sector whistle blowers will NOT get the protection described, whatever the circumstances of your disclosure. The worse the offence, the more important that the establishment closes ranks.

When Zahawi’s lawyers threatened me, I was a senior tax lawyer with financial resources and legal and media contacts. He threatened other people who didn’t have those advantages (I know of at least three):

More questions. If Zahawi just made an innocent mistake and did his civic duty in cleaning it up… why did he threaten to sue people reporting on it? And try to keep those threats secret? taxpolicy.org.uk/letters/

Can anyone explain why an ethics enquiry prevents Mr Zahawi answering questions today? And is it the same reason why Mr Zahawi failed to answer my questions for the last six months?

Everyone is talking about the £3.7m of tax that Nadhim Zahawi "carelessly" failed to pay. Perhaps not enough people are talking about the cover-up. taxpolicy.org.uk/2023/01/24/cov…

Here are ten of Mr Zahawi's statements, with links to original sources. Assess for yourself how truthful they were at the time, in light of what we now know:

This will be my last Zahawi update for a while. After trying to push this story for six months, it now has plenty of life of its own. A swathe of brilliant journalists are on the case, and I can take a step back. What happens next is politics, not tax law.

"I'll just make something up" Confident from experience that the criminal justice system always supports the lies of a cop

I have a new definition of "chutzpah" - lying to the press, threatening them with libel action, and then complaining that their headlines were mean.

I was forced to 'revise' my FOIA to HM Treasury after they refused to provide the Blackmore Bond info on basis that it would cost more than they're obliged to spend, today HTM send me this. They're now considering if its in 'public interest' to disclose it... Transparency Task Force

Interesting. It appears I wasn't appointed to Chair of BBRS SME Liaison Panel because they were concerned how the 'banks would respond' to my appointment & 'He ruled himself out of the running by highlighting the need for a tough, firm & forthright approach'... Transparency Task Force

The NHS lawyers always profit from whistleblowers' cases. They delay, drag and request responses for obvious facts to make more financial gain from the public money, which the NHS managers are supposed to spend on a worthy cause rather.

I urge everyone who supports Gary Linker’s stance to do as I shall do and boycott Match of the Day until he is reinstated. The BBC’s spineless capitulation is beyond belief.

The Jobcentre wrongly fined me £50 because they said they had overpaid me. I produced evidence that proved they didn't. They wouldn't accept it and insisted I appeal. I didn't have the energy. Someone on here, who ashamedly I can't remember, paid my fine. ♥️

Saw "conmedian" #stewartlee by accident in York. Didn't laugh once. Tested him by telling him a proper joke & turns out he does have a sense of humour - he just elects not to use it for his own material. A proper joke would b a breath of fresh air!
