I know of many in the civil and administrative legal system. The jury system offers at least a degree of protection in criminal cases if they go to crown.

Also public sector whistle blowers will NOT get the protection described, whatever the circumstances of your disclosure. The worse the offence, the more important that the establishment closes ranks.

The NHS lawyers always profit from whistleblowers' cases. They delay, drag and request responses for obvious facts to make more financial gain from the public money, which the NHS managers are supposed to spend on a worthy cause rather.
