Comments by L&Q do not reflect the chain of events as they happened. We worked with L&Q + Hackney Council to reduce cladding works impact on green space + biodiversity but GM contractors were sent both during+after works which is when most of the destruction happened.

Hacking back shrubs & trees, often at worst time of year for breeding birds, and use of “hard cut” to minimise future maint. Same at my PeabodyLDN block
