I asked Wells Fargo if my deceased mother had any other accounts besides her checking. They said she didnāt. Weeks later I found a WF credit card that the bank had closed the same day, but never told me about, so the outstanding balance would accrue late fees. #criminals
When a bank tells you there are no other accounts, but you accidentally find out that there is, and it has a balance due, and the bank sends you a statement without a transaction history, or an address to send the payment to, you can be sure that bank is Wells Fargo

The problem with not giving meaningful punishments to Wells Fargo executives the first time they got caught opening fake accounts, is that they just keep doing it because they know theyāll only pay a fine. Theyāre still doing the same thing they did to me a decade ago.
When your bank gets caught committing the same crimes they were committing a decade ago. They say theyāre very sorry, but they mean theyāre sorry they got caught. You canāt do worse than Wells Fargo

The truly odd activity, is that Wells Fargo noticed odd activity on the account, since I closed it nearly 3 months ago, after the account holder died. Way to keep up Well Fargo! š Maybe this is referring to an account I donāt know about, since they told me there were no others.
Well thank god! Considering the cardholder died in February and Wells Fargo closed the account in March, and an acceptable amount of time has passed while Spring slowly winds down into Summer, June seems like the perfect time for WF to catch up on their shit! š±š±š±
I have to say, Iām a little disappointed ... The account holder has only been dead for 4 months, and the account has been closed for 3, but right away Wells Fargo stops paying her rewards. After enduring 50 years of these idiots, she deserves to be rewarded now more than ever!
