It is HMRC who are at fault. HMRC created the #loancharge, not promoters. It’s HMRC who misled Parliament whilst claiming “always clear”, despite losing in the Courts prior to the debatable & inconvenient success in the Supreme Court. It’s HMRC who charge both IHT & Income Tax!
