Blue skies and sunshine at the Showground! Setting up is in full swing…

What a great day - it’s not too late to come on down to the Showground! Still lots to see and do….

Our Show Presidents Gary & Katy Dukes had the very tough job of judging the poster competition - it was won by 9 year old William Pearson for his eye-catching and information-filled design. Gary said it was very close between 1st and 2nd places!

We were not able to present the Victorianna Trophy - kindly donated by our joint president Mrs Katy Dukes - in the Show Ring yesterday because of the rain. But winner Anna posed (shivering) for a photo in the trophy marquee instead. Well done Anna!

Sheep results are in! A HUGE well done to all our competitors.

Just a few of our amazing range of trade stands from Sunday - there was certainly something for everyone - from pork scratchings and licqourice to country wear! Thank you to all our traders.

Take a look at this fabulous collection of hats! They were lovingly made by entrants in class P27. All will be donated to a homeless charity later in the year…. Thank you to all who made them. 1st place Lynda Corrie, 2nd place Julie Thomas, 3rd place Lynda Roe.

The Show may be over for another year, but Section leaders are still busy collating all the results, which should be available soon on our website and social media. Our Show Presidents had the challenge of choosing the winner of the Weeton Show Poster Competition….

Our traditional pre-Show Hog Roast was a huge success - thank you to Jane and her team for organising the evening and to Ashby’s Event Catering for the delicious food. Try to come along next year if you missed it - a great social evening for the local community….
