This is bang on. Public opinion has not changed, we have backed assisted dying reform for years. In every single constituency in GB that support is present. What has changed is the mood in Parliament. Dame Esther is helping to ensure leaders & MPs are not let off the hook💪

It was such an honour to know Wendy a little & support anna wharton with their latest book. She was such a trailblazer not only on changing perceptions about dementia but also on death, dying & choice. Clear, national guidance on the choice she made must be part of her legacy.

A historic victory. Members of the Isle of Man parliament have today voted for dignity, for choice, for compassion. They have listened to the public, including the dying people and bereaved relatives who know the horrors of the current law all too well.

Westminster, take note.
