Good discussions today with fellow governors at the #NGASummerMeeting. Topics have included expanding access to computer science education, and the importance of travel and tourism to local economies.

Monday morning’s shooting in Burlington is troubling to us and a horrific act of violence. It is incredibly saddening to hear that the two victims were fellow UVM students. Our thoughts go out to the families and friends grieving during this difficult time.

Don’t you mean second female Attorney General? Pretty disrespectful to Vermont’s first female Attorney General Susanne Young, a selfless career civil servant of 40 years. Glad the Democratic Party really stands for empowering women

John Walters Yes. That poll is off by a lot for a lot. It’s an “online” poll. I’m betting the margin will be greater than this. Care to wager?

14 counties. 14 hours. Thank you, Rutland for welcoming us on our last stop, and thank you, Vermont! Get out and vote tomorrow if you haven’t already. Let’s get this done!

Regardless of political differences, everyone should acknowledge behavior like this is wrong and cowardly. No elected official in this country should feel intimidated for the difficult everyday decisions they make. Period.

Gov. Scott's agenda is based on what Vermonters need. But Democrats are reluctant to work with the Governor to cover these essentials. We need more Republicans running to HELP the Governor get this done for our state

You say “insults”, I say “accurate descriptions of reality.” We are already the 4th highest taxed state in the country with a new payroll set to take effect later this year and property taxes going up 15-20% in some places. And some Democrats want even more taxes on top of that.
