Today, on Earth Day, the EPA has announced it accepted our Department’s application for the Solar for All Program. Vermont will receive over $62 million. This funding will be a huge boost for our state as we transition to clean, renewable energy.

Vermonters cannot afford our already too high property taxes, let alone a double-digit increase. The current system isn’t working for schools or taxpayers. We need to act this year to avoid a crushing increase while pursuing reforms that will lead to better outcomes for our kids.

The Senate will not be the same without Sen. Mazza’s sense of humor. Those who know him, know he isn’t exactly a technological savant.
