It was wonderful to bring our Open Graduate Education students together for the first time in a long time. These super stars are pursuing double degrees--a PhD and a secondary Master's in different fields. I shamelessly snuck in for the student group picture!

Turkey day lessons from being an international student: 1. reach out to yr network--across time zones; 2. cook/do something special--don't overdo it; 3. take time for yourself; 4. honor remembrance of indigenous people; & for me, 5. recognize day may be easier bc of non-US family
