There is no bird as stunning as a hoopoe with its crest unfurled in anger at the unjustness of naming it onomatopoeically as the Hoopoe in English , the Hudhud in Arabic &Hindi and Upupa epops in Latin! Being the only member of the Upupidae does not help it seems! IndiAves
