I will be voting NO on the resolution to impeach the president. The vandals and rioters who interrupted my floor motion and speech and prevented me from completing the official business of the House are solely responsible for their actions, not the President.

I do think primaries are important (something I haven’t always supported). It’s not even necessarily about strict ideological lines for me. I just think we need more people that are there to truly serve the people they are supposed to represent.

Today I will vote NO on impeachment. I will not allow establishment politicians to pressure me into voting for something that will further divide our nation. Congress has once again decided to put political games before the people. I have ZERO interest in taking part in that.

Donald Trump will become the first president ever reelected after being impeached twice.

President Trump’s statement tonight hit the mark. He rejected violence, unequivocally condemned those who defiled our Capitol, called for full accountability, and emphasized those who engage in violence tarnish the movement. His speech helps move the country move forward.

Its now time for President-elect Biden to reject post presidential impeachment because of the destructive force it would have on the presidency and nation. Every president is subject to the laws of the land. However, impeachment is political and will further divide the nation.

If President-elect Biden truly seeks unity, he has an opportunity to make a major step in that direction by rejecting post-presidential impeachment.

I voted against the frivolous impeachment sham today. It will be nice when Democrats can stop this foolishness so we can get to working on behalf of the American people. Impeaching a President with seven days left in his term is a colossal waste of time.
