Supposedly, only 1.2% of Toronto residents ride their bike to work. And because of that, the provincial government is pushing through legislation that would remove the existing lanes on Bloor, University, and Yonge. But does that statistic seem a little suspicious to you? 1/

This is everywhere in Ontario now. Vehicle owners driving around with plates that you can’t read. Many strip off the plastic. MTO is hands-off, police don’t enforce. Try calling 911 on someone who is drunk driving, for example. By law, owners are supposed to have readable plates.

the degree to which Ontario is governed with an eye to the priorities and comfort of Etobicoke residents specifically is incredible

You *destroyed* the Ontario Science Centre. This embarrassing takeover of an abandoned department store isn’t a ‘satellite location’ - it’s an insult to the people who spent over half a century building the iconic, world famous institution. #SaveOSC #SaveOntarioScienceCentre

Doug Ford has decided to create dangerous streets across Toronto. He knows people will be injured—and even die—so he's also taking away the ability for people injured to hold him to account in court. This is also dangerous—to our fundamental rights to hold power accountable.

We’ve heard loud & clear from Torontonians that they want the Ontario Science Centre to remain in its current location. The Auditor General’s findings indicate that the Province’s relocation plans will cost MORE than reopening the existing building. globalnews.ca/news/10899041/…

Today, I was one of the witnesses at the Canadian House of Commons on the topic of Russian disinformation campaigns in Canada. During my speech, the alarms at the house went off and the whole hearing was adjourned. Am I being paranoid for thinking that this wasn't coincidental?

This is an outright lie. HPV vaccine is associated with unprecedented DECLINES in cancer rates. Despite what the redemption campaign wants you to believe, RFK is an anti-vax ZEALOT.

Want to read a good paper on the impacts of carbon prices on food prices? One that the authors have read? One that a reviewer or two has actually read? One that is readily replicable? One with great data visualization? And yes, it's peer reviewed. onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/cj…

The WHO is recommending, right now in 2025, to wear a mask in crowded areas to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. So it’s not why am I wearing a mask when I’m in the supermarket, it’s why aren’t you? PS Waitrose this a.m., cashier hacking up a lung, no masks anywhere obviously!

Far-UVC light (222 nm) kills airborne bacteria in indoor spaces, reducing pathogens by up to 99.5%—even with low ventilation. Tested at room scale, it works fast & effectively. A game-changer for infection control in schools, hospitals, offices. Let’s deploy this tech!

Dorian Štern Vukotić Greg Roughan James Surowiecki If USA being 1000x bigger than a trading partner somehow doesn't matter to the economics of international trade, I need more explanation than "It's expected..." USA has 340,000,000 people, San Marino has 34,000. How could x10,000 people imbalance not matter to trade?
