11:18pm CT: This has been wild watching the sensor at Sand Island in the Midway Islands (west of Hawaii). Rose quickly to 2.5’ and now down to nearly 0. This is common with tsunamis as a “wave train” moves through. This is very different than both wind blown waves or storm surge.
