Watching with a soft smile as the imp sits beside him Beno would lean back slightly on his hands. “Why is that~? Not all humans are completely terrible~ do you possibly hold a grudge?”

The vampire was tempted to pet the imps hair but settled with gently rubbing their back instead. “I can imagine. Being ripped from your home to a place where no one understands you. But I can assure you there’s kind people out there~”

Beno worries briefly as the creature tended up but relaxed at the same time as the imp, smiling softly as he spoke. “Latin is a dead language to humans. There’s not many that know it and those that speak it when summoning are only reading words from a book.”
