It’s called Healthdirect and again what about rural settings? So rather than fund a local doctor Labor would rather fund someone who doesn’t even live, work or know the local population.

Rosita DĂaz $29.61 = 63% alcohol tax (according to bundy rum) $69.62 = what you need to earn before tax to end up with $47 (for most people), tax on this = $22.62 You've paid $52.23 in tax if you buy a $47 bottle of rum. Ain't socialism grand!

In the UK, GPs have such restricted access to diagnostics. It’s insulting, and causes time and $ inefficiencies. Guess where you’ll get these freedoms, be effective for your patients, and be allowed to grow some self-respect.

John Milionis Anthony Albanese You’re $55 out of pocket, however you could have attended the Prahran Medicare Urgent Care Clubic and be bulk billed. You always have options. It’s worth considering the one where you are out of pocket $55 costs taxpayers $43, while attending the urgent care centre won’t cost

Partha S Kar 🇮🇳🇬🇧🏏🎥 You need ability, hard work, still a degree of self sacrifice, personal warmth and intellectual curiosity, a thirst for knowledge and care for others, a way of thinking that goes beyond the usual or protocols, and a great ability to take decisions under uncertainty. Its hard.

Joe Garra This is Politicians pretending to be Doctors by deciding what conditions Pharmacists (think they) know how to treat. Who carries the medico-legal liability for the missed/delayed serious diagnosis? Are you collecting outcome data so the program can be objectively evaluated?

Enjoy your 2-teir primary care system Victoria. Those with $ will see GPs with 10 years of DEDICATED medical training. Those without will see pharmacists with a 4 year pharmacy degree and 100 or so hours of 'upskilling' Victorian Labor thinks that's acceptable. Good luck!

salaryDr Either own your own business like Direct Primary Care or Concierge. Or just don’t go into primary care. If you’re hoping to work for a healthcare system - their playbook is laid out for all to see… replace physicians with nonphysician providers. It’s a simple $ math equation for

For any GPs stupid enough to commit to 100% bulk-billing under Australian Labor's new scheme: 2025/6 rebates have been announced and are increasing by only 2.5% If you lock yourself in to bulk-billing you'll just face the same slow decline that occurred under Liberal Party
