Well, here’s one of our objects Worthing Theatres and Museum unwrapped, researched, restored and gifted to West Sussex Libraries! An 1892 campaign for public libraries, still relevant locally, nationally and internationally 130 years on. Thanks to The Centre for Design History for funding the graphic design + framing.
A recent event Worthing Theatres and Museum brought researchers together to share new work on the history of children’s clothes including Nicola miles whose PhD research University of Brighton The Centre for Design History on Clothkits uses Worthing collections.
