Two events for UMFA Members this month! The next craft day is on Monday, October 21 in the UMFA office. The second event is happening October 30 at Garbonzo's on William Ave. for Members on Bannatyne campus.

On October 29, come out to the Robson Hall Distinguished Visitor Lecture with Professor Emeritus Harry Glasbeek of Osgoode Hall Law School. The talk is "Law at Work: the coercion and co-option of the working class". It takes place at noon in Robson Hall, Moot Court Room B.

On October 30, Professor Emeritus Harry Glasbeek, of Osgoode Hall will launch his new book Law at Work: The Coercion and Co-option of the Working Class. The event takes place Oct. 30, from 7-9 pm at the Manitoba Federation of Labour Union Centre, 275 Broadway. All are welcome.

Winnipeg Police Services has said the incident at UM (Fort Garry Campus) has been resolved. It has been determined that there is no imminent threat to public safety. The Major Crimes Unit continues to investigate this matter. We thank you for your patience and cooperation.
