First 100 spots for 2019 Beat the Heat 5K taken in just 2 days!

It's that time of year again, as we start highlighting members of our Beat the Heat Elite 5k field! First up is Paula Pridgen, who is running BTH for the first time. Paula's favorite race distance is the marathon, and she appreciates a burger and a good IPA post-race! #BTH5k

Our next featured elite is defending champion Donnie Ray Cowart, who won the race in '15, '16, and '18! Donnie's favorite aspect of the BTH is the finish chute: "the best of any road race around, everyone is so loud and supportive!" #BTH5k
