There were 5 wicket wins for both the 1st & 2nd X1 yesterday. In the 1s game, 4/31 from Ben Head helped restrict Purton Cricket Club to 177, before a 100+ 4th wicket partnership between Zak Tunmore (79) and James Richardson (45*) helped get the visitors over the line (1/2) ππ³
For the first time in 20+ years the 1st X1 won away at Malmesbury! A first 5 wicket haul in the 1s for tejars rohit helped bowl the hosts out for 188 whilst Hp ππ (59) and Peter Day (78*) led the way in the chase to secure an eight wicket victory ππ³

Marlborough 2nd XI gained their first victory of the season Sherston Magna CC by 61 runs Marlborough posted 235-5 with captain Nick Crabbe scoring 99 and Parth Gandhi 43 They restricted the hosts to 174-9 in their 45 overs.
Marlborough secured a clean sweep of victories this weekend! The 1st XI won a tense encounter Bear Flat CC by two wickets with one ball to spare. Youngster Will Miller starred with a diligent 42 with James Hawkes guiding them to victory with an unbeaten 25.
