Did a "touristy" thing and took a trip up along M-119 along Lake Michigan and into the Tunnel of Trees. It was a cool day, but it was a really beautiful trip.

Fall color getaway is in the books! Today’s adventure was a drive through the Tunnel of Trees with a stop at Thorne Swift Nature Preserve. A short hike from its nature center will lead you to beautiful Lake Michigan. Get outside and breathe the air! 🌲 🍂 🌊 🫶🏻

Just missed the best time for the Tunnel of Trees in northern Michigan by a couple weeks. Still a fantastic drive. Saw a ton of deer and a ton of multi million dollar houses on Lake Michigan. I could def vacation here someday.
