Then bumped into Darrell who showed me a Convolvulvus Hawkmoth (lifer!), before heading to work where one of my colleagues had found a 'big moth' on a post in the car park - Clifden Nonpareil!! It was still there when I went home 9 hours later... @britishmoths

Superb morning with Mark Nowers in Felixstowe with Gannets galore, Sandwich Terns, Mipits, hirundines, Little Egrets, a Fulmar & an Egyptian Goose! Then onto Landguard for more Sandwich Terns (different flavour!) & my first Spotted Flycatcher of the year😊 Suffolk Bird Group
